Exclamatory Sentence কাকে বলে?
যে Sentence দ্বারা মনের আকস্মিক অনুভূতি বা উচ্ছ্বাস প্রকাশ করা হয় তাকে Exclamatory sentence বলে।
A sentence which is used to express different emotions like joy, happiness, regret, surprise, wonder etc is called an exclamatory sentence.
কিছুটা Assertive sentence এর মতো হলেও এই বাক্যগুলো অনেক strong emotion show করে থাকে। বই পুস্তক এ এসব ভাষা ব্যবহৃত হয়না।সাধারণত খুব Formal situation এই এই ভাষার প্রয়োগ হয়ে থাকে।
Exclamatory sentence যেসব emotion প্রকাশের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয় সেগুলো হলো:
Happiness, frustration, angar, surprise, sorrow, expressions, confusion, love etc.
Example:
1. Alas!! He lost his mother.
2. You have made her angry!
3. What a rude personality you have!
4. What a beautiful place it is!
5. Hurrah! Bangladesh won the match.
6. If I were a king!
7. What a cool afternoon it is!
8. How hot the weather is!
9. I feel alone without you!
10. Wow! It’s a great idea.
11. I don’t know what was happening!
12. She is so beautiful!
Exclamatory Sentence এর গঠন
Structure:
Alas/ Hurrah যুক্ত sentence এর গঠন:
Hurrah/Alas exclamation sign+sub+verb+extension.
Example:
Alas! I am undone.
Hurrah! We won the task.
What+a/an বা How+adjective+sub+verb+!
Example:
What a nice pen it is!
How beautiful she is!
If/Had+ sub+verb+extension+!
Example:
I wish I were a king!
Had I been a king!
